Песенка "Teddy Bears' Picnic"

Хотя большинство арктофилов (научное название любителей коллекционных медведей) считают своих плюшевых друзей интровертами, склонными проводить всё свободное время в уединении, у мишек Тедди тоже есть своя «светская жизнь».

Доказательства этому появились очень рано, в 1907 году (фактически сразу после появления первых Тедди) : американский композитор Джей Кей Браттон показал миру своё творение- милую мелодию под названием «The Teddy Bear’s Picnic» («Пикник плюшевых мишек «). Стихи появились лишь в 1932 году, их автором стал ирландский поэт-песенник Джими Кеннеди. Эта детская песенка популярна уже многие десятилетия, спеть ее почли за честь многие исполнители. Первая вокальная версия была записана в 1932 году Генри Холлом и его Оркестром. А в 1957 году мишка стал героем саундтрека, который исполнил легендарный Элвис Пресли для фильма Loving You, снятого студией Paramount Pictures. Хит получил название “Teddy Bear”. У легенды рок-н-ролла действительно был любимец — плюшевый медвежонок.
